The following hotels in the centre of Ghent offer dicsounted rates for workshop participants/guests of the university:

 

• Grand Hotel Reylof: rates for guests of the university (mention 'UGent, GIST5'):
  

single room ('charm room'), breakfast included: 140€ per night per room

double room, breakfast included: 157,5€ per night per room

 

• Hotel de Flandre: rates for guests of the university (mention 'UGent'):

Standard single/double room: 104€ per night per room  

Executive double/twin room: 119€ per night per room

Luxury double room: 129€ per night per room

Breakfast: 20€ per person per day

 

• Monasterium PoortAckere: rates for workshop participants (mention 'GIST5'):

Single occupancy double room: 105 euros per night per room

Double room occupied by 2 guests: 127 euros per night per room

Both prices include buffet breakfast.

 

• Novotel: rates for guests of the university:

Single room: 140€ per night per room, breakfast included

Double room: 160€ per night per room, breakfast included

 

NOTE that you will always have to pay a separate 'city tax' of 2,50€ per night per person on top of your normal hotel bill.
